Iggy once told me it was awkward meeting ‘Qing’ in the carpark lot of a friend’s home while having another couple suggestively point and smile at her (behind her back). But that’s how Iggy and LiQing were set up, not that Iggy is complaining…

The photography job for this wedding kinda fell in my lap after their original photographer (the stunning Helen Chong) miscommunicated the date of the wedding and inadvertently made other arrangements. I was honoured to be considered a worthy photographer for the task, and was doubly honoured when my excellent friend, Dan Au, agreed to be second photographer. You can find his gallery of photos here: http://www.danauphotography.com/2011/01/married-iggy-liqing/. He’s turning into quite the photographer himself!

It was a seriously fun day and not the last time Dan and I would work together. My hat off to the beautiful couple.

This is a serious train…

The storm clouds in the back don’t look that serious…but they were. We only managed a couple of snaps here before having to run back to the cars…

So we ended up at The Emporium in Fortitude Valley, taking shots at Wagamamas…

And a beautiful (but now non-existent) French restaurant/cafe.
