This wedding was my second as one of the official photographers. However, I was only asked to shoot the afternoon portion which suited me fine! Dan Au met Fayette Fung when Fayette joined the University of New South Wales’ international students church (Fellowship of Overseas Christian University Students – FOCUS. I think that’s the right acronym…). You can say it was ‘interest’ at first sight, and after a few months they were dating…months later they were engaged and on the 29th of November, 2008 they were celebrating their second wedding service in Brisbane (after another Sydney ceremony). It was a typically clear, hot and humid Summer day in Brisbane.
Dan has since become one of my closest friends (despite being in Sydney) and we’ve shot three weddings together so far. He’s also got a fantastic website of his own now that you can visit here.
