It can start with the right motivation but can quickly turn into something selfish.

I was recently reminded (especially with upcoming Sister’s Night – where the guys will spend a night serving and ‘entertaining’ our sisters) to serve with humility as Jesus taught in His sermon on the mount. That is – if we do things in order to recieve a reward (praise, honour…etc) from men then God won’t reward those things because they have already been rewarded.

Upon reflection, Sister’s Night is just one huge display of an ‘act of righteousness’ – we’re all doing this openly and for the praise from our Sisters. So it would be good to remind and be reminded that we should continuously strive to be seeking to serve our Sisters even without their acknowledgement.

Something to think about…
