The end of 2009 couldn’t come soon enough. The year’s study had almost run me into the ground and it felt like I needed a nice breather over the summer holidays to recoup. But shortly after exams I had been booked for a number of weddings, most of which were College related since it felt like every couple at College got engaged during the year and married over summer. Mitch and Maddie were the official wedding gig to kick off the warm weather.
I’ve known Mitch primarily through studies at College where he is also a part time student. He met Maddie when he made the big move up to Brisbane after living most of his life on the Central Coast of NSW (I stand corrected…all I know is Mitch was in NSW :P). Maddie is the daughter of a Pressy minister and while I’m not aware of all that went on I definitely know that they go well together :)
So the day itself was beautiful. The rains which threatened blew over, and blue skies came just at the right time. And let me say, this had to be one of the most casual weddings I’ve ever participated in!

Maddie’s dress was pure elegance. I also loved that her bedroom door was plastered with photos of her and friends :)
This is Nathan. You can find him here.
