Part of our ministry over the past few weeks has been to open up our home and invite students in for a quiet place to study – we provide fresh coffee and lunch free of charge. It’s been great having people over to serve them in this way and it’s also been effective for me personally to couch my own studies within the context of service and ministry.
The coffee has been good – not exceptional (I wasn’t able to make it to Pastor B’s place to pick up some fresh roasted beans!) but this guy brings new meaning to ‘you eat with your eyes first…’
