The meeting went relatively well last night. My father seemed ok with the news, even if the look of disappointment was apparent on his face. My mother probably didn’t understand what was going on. I think we did out best to communicate the intention of quitting our respective jobs in order to fully devote our time to working for our Church.
Shte1 and I are hoping to continue keeping up with my parents over the next few weeks in order to show them our love and concern.
Praise God that my parents were able to take the news calmly, but continue to pray that they will be open to what we re doing, and that ultimately God would soften their hearts and bring them to know Him through his Son.
