As I was driving home this evening I was listening to the live 7 news coverage on the radio. One of the commentators made a brief apology regarding a story they aired the night earlier – accusing Prime Minister Kevin Rudd of taking up seats during the opening ceremony belonging to someone else. In actual fact the Australian Olympic Committee had given him two tickets.
I wonder how 7 News got this report wrong in the first place? Chinese whispers perhaps? :P
