It’s been a crazy month – which partly explains the lack of blogging!
The first week/weekend of August was spent focusing on a sermon to be given to the folks at BCAC (formely Antioch). I preached from Psalm 137 with my main emphasis being on remembering our citizenship in Heaven :)
Two weeks later J & J – Shte1’s oldest bro – was married. It was a beautiful wedding – pictures up soon :)
Then on the Sunday following the wedding Shte1, myself, Mikz and GHWong drove up to the Sunshine Coast for the annual Brisbane Leadership Training event. We caught the tail end of the talk from a guest speaker and then headed off to a seminar on Systematic Theology and a workshop on ‘Worship’ (for myself) and ‘Burnout’ (for Shte1). More on that to come…
Then last weekend I preached again, this time at St Lucia and on 1 Corinthians 6:1-11 with my main emphasis being on using Godly wisdom and judgement to discern between disputes and righteousness.
So yes, it has been very busy :) But very good. And with this month looking much clearer (at least, until after Father’s Day) I hope to find some more time to sit down and blog a bit more on everything that’s happened. And yes, I also hope to update our Honeymoon blog soon as well!
Till then :)
