Since I’m now stranded at home with this injury I figured I really have no excuse not to finish this random blogg I promised weeks ago.
So without further ado, here’s a few random things that have happened/been on my mind since Christmas.

Merry Christmas!!

Just before Christmas Shte1 left for Malaysia. A couple of my work mates had been jokingly asking if I was going to cry when she left. Truth is I wanted to, but didn’t really. Only when I got home did I realise how much I was going to miss her, and how thankful I am to have her at all in my life :)
That said, here’s a funny pic I took whilst waiting at the departure lounge at the International Airport.

Speaking of leaving, Tekken finally bid adieu to the CCT. After nearly 9 months of waking up early to go to work, his time finished with a nice morning tea and a few words which stunned a couple of my workmates.
I was very encouraged to hear his words to the, mostly, non-Christian workmates. Follow up will be difficult, but I’ve made some inroads recently with one of the girls who was very interested to hear Tekken’s first semon at Burwood@5 (click the link and look for ‘Jan 22 2006). I have also passed this girl a copy of ‘Know Why You Believe‘ by Paul E. Little and she has already said it is an interesting and informative book.

Speaking of Tekken, he finally got his license! Good boy!
And boy was it wierd going down to the coast in the rear passenger seat this time…
“Home Jeeves!”

Happy New Year!

Upon saying ‘See you soon…’ to our brother and sister (Tekken and FeiJei) Shte1, Syuen and I decided some retail therapy at the newly(ish) opened Direct Factory Outlet near the Brisbane Airport would soothe our sorrowful hearts.
I have been looking for a camera for a long time. Shte1 and I have discussed this option for a while since she has become very tired with the slowness of her current camera – the Nikon Coolpix 3200. The main gripe, as I said, was the extremely slow load-up time between flash shots (nearly 6 seconds).
So I did some research and we settled on the Sony DSC-W5. And at the reduced price of $343.00 I thought it was a pretty good catch. Overall picture quality is good, but the feature I’m having fun with the most is filling up the 1Gig ($58 from eBay!) memory card with video clips!

There’s probably a lot more I could blog about, but my mind has drawn a blank.
Oh well, back to regular blogging from now on :) Thanks for those who have stuck around during the ‘quiet’ times :P
